This is a set of a beautiful series of 9 Limited Edition plates that were issued annually. Each plate features American Woodland Wildlife animals in a full color design. The series of ten plates began in 1973 and concluded in 1982. They were designed by Edward Marshall Boehm. Each plate was handcrafted on a 10.5" diameter Lenox china plate having the traditional Lenox ivory background and all are trimmed with a band of colbalt blue and gold. 1973 Raccoons 1974 Red Foxes 1975 Cottontail Rabbits 1976 Eastern Chipmunk 1977 Beavers 1978 Whitetail Deer 1979 Squirrels 1980 Bobcats 1981 Martens 1982 Otters The back of each plate is marked in gold: Lenox Presents An Annual Limited Issue Woodland Wildlife Adapted From Original Works of Art Designed By (feather logo) (name of animal) LENOX LOGO LENOX (YEAR OF ISSUE) (c) LENOX MADE IN USA.These have never been displayed and have all of their original packaging (Condition: Pre-Owned)
